The Azerbaijan e-visa is the official online visa for short visits. It is quick and paperless, but precise. Here is how it works and how we make sure yours is right first time.
What the e-visa is
An official visa, issued online
The Azerbaijan e-visa is issued through ASAN Visa, the official electronic visa system of the Republic of Azerbaijan at evisa.gov.az. It replaces a consulate visit for most short trips to Baku.
Once approved, the e-visa is sent to your email address. It is not stamped into your passport, so you print it and present it with your passport when you enter Azerbaijan.
Because the system compares what you type against your passport scan, every letter matters. That is the part we take care of for you.

Urgent e-visa

Issued within three hours, including holidays and non-working days, at a higher state fee.
Validity and stay
90 days · 30 days
Single entry, valid for 90 days, with a stay of up to 30 days.
Passport validity
3 months extra
Valid at least three months beyond the expiry date of the e-visa.

Five things to know about the Azerbaijan e-visa
No refund on refusal
The official conditions state that the fee is not refunded if an e-visa is refused.
One entry only
The e-visa allows a single entry. Leaving and coming back needs a new visa.
Register long stays
Visitors staying more than 15 days must register their place of stay with the State Migration Service.
When it is not the e-visa
Work, study and long stays go through the embassy or a residence permit.

Where is the official Azerbaijan e-visa website?
The official ASAN Visa portal is evisa.gov.az. Baku.pk is a private consultancy that prepares and submits applications there on your behalf.
Is the Azerbaijan e-visa stamped in my passport?
No. It is issued electronically and sent by email. Print it and present it with your passport at the border.
Can I enter Azerbaijan twice on one e-visa?
No. The e-visa is single entry. A second trip needs a new visa.
What if my e-visa is refused?
The fee is not refunded. The official rules allow you to re-apply through a diplomatic mission of Azerbaijan; we can advise on that route.
