Do Pakistani citizens need a visa for Baku?
Yes. Pakistani passport holders must hold an Azerbaijan visa before travel. Most tourists use the official e-visa.
How long does the Baku visa take?
The official portal states a standard e-visa is issued within 3 working days and an urgent e-visa within 3 hours.
How long can I stay?
The e-visa is single entry, valid for 90 days, with a stay of up to 30 days.
What documents are needed?
A passport valid three months beyond the e-visa's expiry, a clear photo page scan, an email address, an internationally enabled card, and your arrival date and address in Azerbaijan.
Is the fee refunded if the e-visa is refused?
No. The official conditions state there is no refund on refusal.
Can I re-apply after a refusal?
The official rules allow you to re-apply through a diplomatic mission of Azerbaijan.

Where is the Azerbaijan embassy in Pakistan?
Plot 1D and 1E, Diplomatic Enclave II, Islamabad. Applications are accepted through the MFA electronic appointment portal.
Do I need to register in Baku?
If you stay more than 15 days, your place of stay must be registered with the State Migration Service. Hotels normally do this.
Can I live in Azerbaijan?
With a legal ground such as work, study, family or investment, you can apply for a temporary residence permit (TRC). Our Baku team offers processing support.
What currency is used in Baku?
The Azerbaijani manat (AZN). Cards are widely accepted in Baku.
