Most tourists never visit the embassy
For holidays and short visits, Pakistani travellers normally apply for the Azerbaijan e-visa online. No embassy appointment is needed for that.
The embassy route matters when your purpose does not fit the e-visa: work, study, long stays, more than one entry, or re-applying after an e-visa refusal.
Applications at the embassy are accepted only through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs electronic appointment portal, so book online before you go.
