The Azerbaijan e-visa asks for little paperwork, but every item has to be exact. Here is the Baku visa checklist we use for every client.

Required for the e-visa
- Pakistani passport valid at least three months beyond the e-visa's expiry date
- Sharp colour scan of the passport photo page
- Working email address for the e-visa and status updates
- Internationally enabled card for the online state fee
- Planned arrival date and address of stay in Azerbaijan
Good to carry at the border
- Printed e-visa with your passport
- Return or onward ticket
- Hotel booking or host's full address
- Proof of funds such as a bank card
- Travel insurance for your stay

The passport scan
The document that causes most refusals
The official conditions list an unreadable passport scan among the reasons an e-visa can be refused, and a refused fee is not refunded.
We check every scan before submission. A good scan is in colour, flat, evenly lit and shows all four edges of the photo page including the machine-readable lines at the bottom.
- No glare, flash reflection or shadow
- All four corners and both MRZ lines visible
- Not cropped, blurred or rotated
- Same passport you will travel on

Turn on international online payments with your bank before applying.
Match your dates
Your arrival date should agree with your flight booking.

Stays of more than 15 days need registration of your place of stay with the State Migration Service.

Do I need a bank statement for an Azerbaijan e-visa?
The online e-visa form itself does not ask for one, but carrying proof of funds when you travel is sensible.
Do I need a photo for the e-visa?
The e-visa uses your passport photo page scan. Embassy visas and residence permits have their own photo requirements.
How long must my passport be valid for Baku?
At least three months beyond the expiry date of the e-visa.
