For Pakistani passport holders

Azerbaijan Visa for Pakistanis every route, explained

Pakistani citizens need a visa before travelling to Azerbaijan. Here is how each route works, which one fits your trip, and how our Lahore team helps.

The short answer

Yes, Pakistanis need a visa for Baku

Pakistani passport holders must hold a valid Azerbaijan visa before they fly. There is no visa on arrival, so the visa must be ready before you board.

For tourism, family visits and short business trips, most Pakistanis use the official e-visa. It is applied for online, without visiting a consulate, and the standard e-visa is issued within three working days according to the official portal.

Students, workers and people planning to live in Azerbaijan follow different routes, through the embassy in Islamabad or a temporary residence permit in Baku.
